Benson, Nathan T age 27 of Watertown passed away accidentally on Monday September 29th, 2008. Funeral Service held on Friday October 3, 2008 4:00 P.M. at the Evangelical Free Church in Watertown with Rev. Paul Kling officiating; Visitation 2 hours prior to the service at church; Interment Watertown Public Cemetery. Nathan was born on October 6, 1980 in Waconia, MN the son of Robert T. and Linda (O’Dell) Benson.
Nathan was born in Waconia MN and lived in Watertown, MN. He went to Watertown-Mayer high school and graduated in 1999. In 2001 he graduated from South Hennepin Community College with a degree in culinary arts. He worked at Subway and Market Place foods in Watertown during his high school years. He also worked at Sweet Celebrations in Edina for nine years and helped out when he was able at The Bakers Wife in Minneapolis. He attended the Watertown Evangelical Free church. 
Nathan enjoyed biking and rollerblading. He was always looking for someone to talk to and have coffee with. He loved and was known for chocolate, candy and cakes. Truffles were his specialty. He was an emerging entrepreneur. 
He loved his family and friends but more important then all of this he loved the Lord. This is what made him the loyal servant he was. He has served many of us. Those of us who know the Lord God are assured and have hope that he is in a better place. Nathan would want all of us to know in this dark time that hope and true peace are found in Christ alone. 
Nathan is preceded in death by his grandfathers John O. Benson and George Nelson. Uncles Rusty O’Dell and John Benson. 
Nathan is survived by his loving family; parents Robert and Linda Benson of Watertown. Brothers and sister-in-law Jonathan and Bliss Benson of Minneapolis. Justin Benson of Watertown. Grandparents June Benson of Watertown, Barb Nelson of Rogers, AK, Bill and Connie O’Dell of Brooklyn Center. . Aunts and Uncles Dave and Barbara Benson of Minnetonka, Stephen and Sonja Thompson of Minneapolis, Jim and Karen Benson of New Prague, Rev. Steve and Kathy O’Dell of New Prague, David O’Dell of Rogers, AK, Leanne and Mike Weyrick of Ft. Smith, AK, George and Channing Nelson Jr. of Pineville, MO. Great Aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
